This Privacy Policy explains how the mobile application Drift: Calm Puzzles (“the App”, “we”, “us”) handles information. We have tried to keep the App as private as possible: it works offline, requires no account, and does not ask you to provide any personal information.

1. Information you give us

None. The App has no sign-up, no login, and no profile. We do not ask for your name, email address, or any personal details.

2. Photos you choose

The picture puzzle games let you pick a photo from your device to turn into a puzzle. Any photo you select is used only on your device, only to create that puzzle. It is never uploaded, transmitted, stored on a server, or shared with anyone. We do not retain a copy.

3. Information stored on your device

The App saves a few small settings locally on your device (for example, whether sound is on and whether you have purchased the ad-free version). This data stays on your device and is not collected by us. Removing the App deletes it.

4. Advertising

The free version of the App shows advertisements provided by Google AdMob, a service of Google LLC. To serve and measure ads, the Google AdMob SDK may collect and process certain information, which can include:

  • your device’s advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID) and similar device identifiers;
  • general device information (device model, operating-system version, language, coarse region);
  • app interaction and ad-interaction events used to deliver and measure ads.

This information is handled by Google in accordance with Google’s Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy. You can learn how Google uses data when you use partners’ apps here: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Where required by law (for example in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland), the App presents a consent form before serving personalised ads, using Google’s User Messaging Platform. You may reset your advertising identifier or opt out of ad personalisation at any time in your device settings under Settings → Google → Ads.

If you purchase Drift Premium, advertising is removed and the AdMob SDK is no longer used to request ads.

5. Purchases

In-app purchases (Drift Premium and optional tips) are processed by Google Play Billing. We never see or store your payment-card details; payment is handled entirely by Google. See Google Play’s terms and Google’s Privacy Policy for how that information is handled.

6. Children

The App is suitable for all ages and is not specifically directed at children under 13. Because the free version uses Google AdMob, we configure ad requests to be appropriate for a general audience. If you would prefer no advertising at all, the one-time Drift Premium purchase removes all ads.

7. Data security & retention

We do not operate servers that store your data. Any data processed by Google (for ads or purchases) is transmitted over encrypted connections and governed by Google’s policies. On-device settings remain until you clear the App’s data or uninstall it.

8. Your choices

  • Turn off ad personalisation, or reset/limit your advertising ID, in your device settings.
  • Remove ads entirely with the one-time Drift Premium purchase.
  • Uninstall the App to remove all locally stored settings.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, noted in the App’s store listing.
